Kubernetes on Hetzner.

Simple. Affordable. Yours.

Self-host free forever with a read-only dashboard that sees only what you allow, or a hosted control plane from €0.016/h, at most €11.68 a month.

How it works

Configure

Write your cluster.lok8s.yaml and opt into read-only dashboard visibility.

spec:
  kubehz:
    hosting: self
    access: registered

Provision

Run a single command or push to GitHub. Your cluster runs on your Hetzner account.

lo provision

Claim your cluster in the dashboard and watch its health: nodes, versions, certs.

Your data stays yours

For self-hosted clusters, only the data the feature you turned on needs ever leaves your cluster: read-only health when you register, and nothing else. No telemetry, no analytics, no workloads, no secrets. The in-cluster agent is outbound-only: kubehz never connects into your cluster and holds no inbound credentials to it. Read-only visibility needs no Hetzner token. See the trust model →

Built on open source

lok8s is the open-source CLI that powers kubehz. It integrates with Cluster API, KubeOne, and Hetzner Cloud to provision and manage Kubernetes clusters. kubehz adds an opt-in platform layer on top: today a read-only dashboard for self-hosted clusters, a managed tier (Supporter subscriptions and up) with healing policies, capacity watches, and desired-state management, and a fully hosted control plane.

You can use lok8s without kubehz. You are never locked in.
